In contrast to the binary nature of electronic instruments, OSCLT. aims to reintroduce intuitive expression into electronic music performance. This foot-operated modulation pedal is designed to breathe life into artificial sound. By prompting continuous physical interaction, the device re-engages the musician’s tactile sensitivity, allowing them to shape and amplify the sound possibilities of any electronic or digital synthesizer.
These previous iterations made it possible to validate the electronic, mechanical, and ergonomic feasibility. The foot orientation, resistance force, and carriage translation system guided the selection of components :
